Matt Stafford plays for the Detroit Lions… so he’s used to being humiliated.
Okay, okay — the kid didn’t have much to work with this season. But tomorrow morning, when Stafford faces off against the GSF’s own Henry Lowenfels in a fitness challenge, the excuses are thrown out the window. We’re talking about some one-on-one, mano-a-mano, no holds barred action. And if Stafford goes down, the shame is ratcheted to a whole new level.
All this will be taking place down here in Miami, in the Gatorade fitness lab. And what’s more, the competition will be broadcast live on Gatorade’s Ustream channel.
Now you might think that @Lowenfels has no chance against a starting NFL Quarterback and former #1 draft pick. But let us be the first to tell you: you’re dead wrong. Sure, Lowenfels is a 5’8″ Jewish kid with a 4-inch vertical. But he’s also the same guy who ran 22 miles yesterday in preparation for Stafford. And while we bloggers love hyperbole, that is no exaggeration.
