Monday Morning Meltdown: Braylon vs. Bron-Bron

Coming to a football field near you?

After losing this weekend to their cross-state rivals, the Cleveland Browns are 0–4 and undoubtedly one of the worst teams in football. Whoever plays quarterback continues to turn the ball over faster than Shaun Rogers can take down a buffet line, and if it weren’t for Josh Cribbs, members of the Dawg Pound would likely be euthanizing themselves to avoid watching the rest of this season.

But things have gotten even worse, as star wideout Braylon Edwards, who’s already alienated the fantasy football world with years of consistently inconsistent play, made news because of an incident that happened outside of a Cleveland nightclub this past weekend. Thankfully, unlike other NFL receivers who have gotten into trouble at a nightclub, Braylon didn’t have a fully loaded glock in his sweatpants…but he did rough up a close friend the one and only King James.

Apparently James’ friend, Edward Givens, is a promoter with a Cleveland marketing firm who was working outside the club on Saturday night.  But more importantly, for the purposes of putting the punch in context, Givens tips the scales at a mere 130 lbs.  Now, Bron-Bron is striking back by saying that Edwards’ “childish” punch proves that Braylon is jealous of The King’s success.

Everyone’s always said that LeBron is the type of athlete who could dominate any court or field he steps foot on, and maybe this is just the impetus that he needs. Can you imagine LeBron lining up at strong safety waiting for Braylon to go for a grab over the middle? We guarantee that would put an end to Braylon’s midget punching days…
