A few weeks ago, I got to wondering: how the hell did I catch so many touchdowns in my prime? I mean, seventeen TD receptions the year I got the Heisman? It was downright ridiculous.
So I pulled out some of the old game tape and started poring over it, becoming what JC would call a “student of the game.” And one thing was abundantly clear: I was only better when playing in the famed “Spread Offense.”
Upon further reflection, I was able to take it another step and realized something even deeper — my success in life has been, in no small part, due to the “Spread.” On the field and in the bedroom.
Sure, talent helps. But if you’ve got the right gameplan, you can penetrate any defense.
