“Say it ain’t so…” by Dr. Gerard Leavenworth
I don’t know if it’s the freezing cold here in Philly or the fact that I just witnessed fat Andy bench our most reliable veteran, but I’m numb right now.
Seeing Donovan on the sideline, I can’t help but think about my experience last winter. It was late in the season and things just weren’t going my way. I had a husband stepping foot on the field for the first time, a wife delivering triplets, and a staff of nurses that was getting manhandled at the line of scrimmage. But that was still no reason to replace me with Devin Dolb, a bright eyed second-year resident who was full of potential but had never seen a defense like this.
I could only watch from the sideline as a nervous Dolb dropped two babies, one returned for the longest TD in Pennsylvania Hospital history.
With the Eagles’ next game on Thanksgiving Day, it’s no time to be making an adjustment like this. I only hope that Coach Reid finds a way to show Donovan that he supports him, or this is going to be the longest holiday season in recent memory…

Donovan will be starting on Thursday…but the more interesting question is whether he will be an Eagle after this year.
did you hear donovan’s press conference? he claims he found out he was starting from the janitor! and he was laughing about it! the eagles are absolutely pathetic.
