Sixth Man of the Day: Kiki Vandeweghe

At 0–17, it’s no secret that New Jersey Nets are an absolute train wreck.  But with today’s announcement that Kiki Vandeweghe will be taking over as head coach, the Nets may have found just the remedy to erase the goose egg from the win column.  Who better than an NBA Legend to lead a young, injury-depleted squad back from the doldrums?

Wait a second: you don’t think Kiki qualifies as a “NBA Legend?” Just watch the video below…it’s as clear as day.

So, the jump shot is now considered a signature move? Seriously? Well, if you don’t believe KV himself, just watch him in action.

Okay, we’re sold. Kiki is a legend, and his signature move is…the dreaded pull-up jumper. (For the record, my Grandpa Harold is a gourmet chef, and his specialty is burnt toast and scrambled eggs.)

In other Kiki Vandeweghe news, have you ever wondered where he developed his poise and striking on-camera presence? You might not be aware that he was in the public eye from a young age (he’s the nancy-boy holding a basketball with a shit-eating grin on his face).

Now, let’s go out and win some ballgames!
