Sure, the controversy spells trouble for John Calipari, who should worry about how this will affect his ability to bring in top notch recruits. And with NCAA sanctions looming over Memphis’ head, the Tigers’ future also looks uncertain at best.
But for the former Tiger turned R.O.Y., these allegations don’t mean a damn thing. So go on, D-Rose, buy that big house for Mama. She deserves it.
