We all know that when it comes to meaningless games against non-playoff opponents, no one is a better hitter than Alex Rodriguez.
But isn’t A-Rod supposed to be God-awful as soon as October hits? Aren’t we talking about the $275 Million man who can’t even hit .275 in the postseason? This is the same guy who’s been vilified since failing to lead the Yanks in a multitude of playoff meltdowns since 2004…
But after the past week of late-inning heroics, we have no choice but to admit it: A-Rod doesn’t suck, even if Girardi still swallows…until he wins #27.
